LIFT NI by Geoffrey Kiyondi

Labour in Faith and Trust (LIFT) is a short term overseas mission organisation who assist Christian mission through building construction and medical projects with the help of Christian volunteers.

When I visited LIFT office in Belfast two weeks ago to record a short documentary I interviewed Elizabeth a 6 years LIFT volunteer. She described her experience as a volunteer as “being fun and an eye opener” especially during overseas trips.

John Purse helped found LIFT with Gary Moore in March 1999.  In December 1997, John and Gary returned from a trip to Guinea Bissau and they felt God leading them to form LIFT.

Being a Christian charity LIFT seek men and women who are willing to share their faith/gifts to the less fortunate and persecuted in other countries.

Are you an experienced builder, joiner, plumber, electrician, tiller or glazier?  Labour in Faith and Trust (LIFT) is seeking to recruit volunteers both skilled and unskilled to assist with projects overseas.
